Description

Extinct in the wild, this exquisite Erica is however, easy to cultivate and worth having in every garden. Tall growing with thick clusters of tubular magenta flowers on virtually every branch. Dead heading encourages flowering and the plant is easily shaped and gorgeous in containers. Thrives in a semi shade or full sun, well drained position, feed and water regularly especially during winter growing season. This form has been conserved in the Kew Gardens collection for many years. Occurred on Cape flats in damp sandy soils – Wynberg, Kenilworth and Zeekoeivlei
