The bulbs produce 1′ long, deciduous, strap-like, grey-green leaves that are heavily spotted with random liver-colored patterns. Each easy-to-grow, 20″ wide clump looks great in the summer rock garden or as a seasonal container plant in colder climates. A striking foliage plant with about 12″ long leaves, irregularly flecked maroon. The pink flowers in summer come as a bonus. Easy to grow in any well draining soil.
